Project Planning and Coordination:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, including task assignments and deadlines.
- Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minutes taking.
- Monitor project progress and report any deviations from the plan to the project manager.
Document Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and specifications.
- Organize and file project documents in a systematic manner for easy retrieval by the project team.
Procurement Support:
- Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries of materials and equipment.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of required materials and services.
Communication Facilitation:
- Serve as a central point of contact for project-related communications, both internal and external.
- Facilitate communication among project team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment of goals.
Quality Assurance and Control:
- Support the implementation of quality assurance measures by assisting in inspections, testing, and verification of workmanship and materials.
- Document and report any quality issues or non-conformities to the project manager for resolution.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols on the construction site.
- Monitor safety practices and report any safety hazards or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
Budget Tracking and Reporting:
- Support the project manager in tracking project expenses and maintaining budgetary records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts to monitor project costs and expenditures.
