Product Manager (Battery & Technical testing equipment)

Overall Purpose of the Role:              

      The Product Manager will be responsible for setting up new business, delivering sales revenue / profit margin target and executing of the new assigned BEV strategic projects (Technical testing equipment business and EPC of Pilot - battery production plant business) to achieve BEV business goal. The position requires an individual with exceptional communication skills and ability to coordinate/develop/execute the business development / sales tasks, on business & solution concepts / projects / products, and at the same time, to manage the new assigned strategic projects. The preferred candidate will be able to:

• Prepare new business project feasibility study by analyzing both business and technology impact, resource needs, and market demand.
• Propose the standard business model / solution offering to potential clients / partners / government funding entities (เช่น สกสว. บพข. วช.) at all levels (senior management level to technical staff level) in order to make healthy pipeline.
• Close business deal with a new potential clients / partners to generate sales / profit margin to achieve business target.
• Product Profit / Loss Management (Cost management & pricing) by product and by project
• Weekly product pipeline progress report of all deals/projects on hand by sector and product
• Managing overall bidding process
• Understand and manage the bidding process (both public and private sector)
• Project bid/contract document preparation
• Draft RFP/Technical document (TOR)
• Review and clarify potential client’s RFP/TOR announcement
• Perform e-bidding activity (for public sector client)
• Vendor Management
• Managing the assigned projects by working closely with all external parties (Solution distributors, vendors, potentail business partners, government funding entities, etc.), and coordinating with other EA group’s business units and internal EA supporting units eg. F/A team, Engineering, etc.

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Energy, Battery, EV, Material Science or other related fields eg. Electrical engineer, Chemical engineer, Chemistry lab researcher, Material scientist, etc.
• At least 3-5 years working experience in Energy, Battery, EV, Technical testing equipment related field in these roles: business development, technical sales, and/or product specialist, with minimum 2 years in management level.  
• Able to work both in Bangkok Metropolitan Area and Upcountry (Mainly in eastern region, Rayong).
• Meticulous, customer-centric, proactive, result-oriented.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work and perform well under pressure.
• Ability to work as a team, willing to share and exchange information among team members.
• English Proficiency in writing and speaking.
