LOCATION: Wireless Road, Bangkok
SALARY: Starting from TH฿ 540,234 per annum
WORK HOURS: 40 hours per week .

BASIC FUNCTIONS REQUIRED:
Incumbent serves as Consular Information Assistant for the Consular Section, with a specialization in correspondence. Prepares responses and replies to inquiries for all consular units: Nonimmigrant Visa (NIV), Immigrant Visa (IV), Fraud Prevention (FPU), and American Citizen Services (ACS) Unit. Assists in the creation and maintenance of response templates to frequently asked questions. Serves as the Consular Section's primary translator for official and unofficial documents, website content, and outreach materials. Assists the Consular Information Specialist in the skills development and training, including organizing the regular professional development days and onboarding of all new consular staff (FSO/EFM/LE staff). Incumbent reports directly to the Supervisory Consular Information Specialist.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
(1) Education: Completion of two years of college or university studies is required.
(2) Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in administrative, customer service, or communications in an English-speaking working environment.
(3) Language: Fluent (Reading/Writing/Speaking) of English and Thai is required. Please clarify level of your THAI and ENGLISH language skill. You can submit a copy of valid TOEIC score (Listening and Reading Section) of at least 855, or pass the English Placement Test (EPT) that is conducted by the Regional Human Resources Office. (This may be tested)
(4) Skills:
• Must have skills and comprehension in correspondence and communications.
• Ability to operate computer. Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be familiar with U.S. business English norms and able to communicate professionally and clearly with internal and external customers.
