Operations Manager (Southern Area)

- Set standards and objectives for all branches.
- Optimize and oversee the operations to ensure efficiency including office facilities, cost control, maintenance, and improvement of quality of inspection services in the Southern Area.
- Responsible for the overall success of the branches by setting targets, supervising, and ensuring all team members are attained.
- Ensure that all work is allocated to the correct staff and ensure that the productivity and accuracy of each staff is monitored.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of the branch and set up the control system within the area.
- Ensure that the staffs are comply with safety standard, regulations which set by the company and law.
- Cooperate with relevant departments both in head office and branches.
- Train staffs to meet the quality standard by coaching, training, and motivation together with Technical Manager.
- Develop new business and new market in the area by working with Business Development and Sales Team.
- Approve the documents relating to finance, human resources, administration, and operations.
- Support company activities and company campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with company’s policies and operational guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Sciences, or related field.
- At least 5-year experience in Operations Manager, Branch Manager or Area Manager.
- Working experience in agriculture, mining, oil, palm oil, gas and chemical supply chains industries will be preferable.
- Proven background in managing Inspector will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and business management
- Able to coordinate and motivate a team towards a common goal.
- Has a leadership, service mind and high responsibility skills.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Apply judgment and acts according to SGS standards of ethics and integrity.
- Can work well under high-pressure.
- Good command in English and computer literacy.
- Live in Suratthani and can communicate in local language.
- Possess own car and driver license.
- Able to visit client sites or branches in Southern area.
